🕊️ Christmas of the Lord — December 25, 2025

The Word Became Peace

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” (John 1:14)

Peoples of the world,

On this night that has become day,
God did not come as thunder,
but as a breath.

He did not take his place in palaces,
but in the fragility of a child.
He did not speak the language of the powerful,
but the language of the hoping heart.

Today, the Word does not shout:
it offers itself.
It does not impose:
it shares.

God chose to dwell among humanity
not to divide,
but to gather.
Not to raise one people against another,
but to make of humankind a single family.

In Mary’s arms,
the Most High becomes vulnerable.
In Joseph’s silence,
faithfulness takes flesh.
And in the night of the world,
a light rises
that no one can extinguish.

This light does not ask permission to exist.
It crosses borders,
it enters closed homes,
it illuminates even wounded hearts
that no longer dared to believe.

Christmas is not a memory.
Christmas is a choice.

The choice to recognize a brother
where once there was a stranger.
The choice to lay down the weapons of judgment
and extend the hands of peace.
The choice to let the Word inhabit our actions.

Even today,
God draws near
whenever one human lifts another,
whenever a woman protects life,
whenever a child is welcomed
without condition.

Inner reset phrase:
Where I welcome the Word, peace takes flesh within me.
